Gareth Bale drops Real Madrid transfer hint amid Man United reports

Gareth Bale
The Wales international was the star of the show for Real Madrid when he came off the bench to score an incredible overhead kick to put the Spanish side 2-1 up against Liverpool FC in the Champions League final.

Bale then added a second to make it 3-1 to Real Madrid as Loris Karius made a mess of trying to save the long-range effort.

The former Tottenham star has been in good form in recent months but he was not given a starting spot by Real Madrid boss Zinedine Zidane on Saturday.

Bale has long been linked with a move back to the Premier League, with Manchester United believed to be interested in signing the world-class forward.
And the Welshman has now hinted that he will assess his future beyond the summer after a season of frustration for him.

Asked about a return to the Premier League, Bale told BT Sport: “Obviously I need to be playing week in, week out and that hasn’t happened this season for one reason or another.

“I had a five or six-week injury at the start of the season and I’ve been fit ever since.

“Now I have to sit down in the summer and discuss it with my agent and I’ll take things from there.”
Manchester United are likely to be linked with a host of players in the coming weeks and months as Jose Mourinho looks to bolster his squad ahead of next season.
