Liverpool want to sign a new goalkeeper this summer and according to a report from the Mirror, Atletico Madrid star Jan Oblak is among the options under consideration.
The Reds are set to step up their pursuit
of signing a top-class goalkeeper this summer following Loris Karius’
high-profile blunders in the Champions League final.
Karius was at fault for two of the goals as Liverpool were cruelly defeated 3-1 in the final of the competition by Real Madrid.

It’s claimed by the Mirror that Liverpool
have identified two top targets for the summer transfer window, with
Oblak joined by Roma goalkeeper Alisson on the Reds’ shortlist.
Oblak has established himself as one of
the best goalkeepers in the world over the course of the last two
seasons and has proven to be a vital cog in Diego Simeone’s Atletico
side.
However, the signing of Oblak would not
be beyond the realms of possibility for the Reds, as long as they meet
the player’s release clause, which is rumoured to be worth £80m.
