Manchester United striker Romelu Lukaku relaxes ahead of the World Cup

Romelu Lukaku is set to play a major part for Belgium at this summer's World Cup but the Manchester United striker is making the most of his time off before the tournament gets underway.
The 25-year-old posted a picture of himself relaxing as he was afforded extra time off due to United's involvement in the FA Cup final.

Lukaku, having only just recovered from an ankle injury, only entered the fray in the 73rd minute at Wembley as United were beaten 1-0 by his former side Chelsea, with the striker's international colleague Eden Hazard scoring the only goal of the game.

After the game United manager Jose Mourinho criticised Lukaku, as well as fellow Belgian Marouane Fellaini, accusing them of not putting enough effort in to be fit for the FA Cup final as they were instead focused on ensuring they are ready for the World Cup.

'When a player tells you he is not ready to start, then the question is how many minutes do you think you can play,' said Mourinho when asked about Lukaku. 'How can I convince a player who tells me he is not ready to play?'
