CARDI B TOPS MTV AWARDS NOMINATIONS

Cardi B is driving the way in assignments at the MTV Video Music Awards, with two more than Jay-Z and Beyonce. The brisk rising rapper who delivered her daughter Kulture Kiari on July 10, is up for 10 stipends, including video, tune and expert of the year.

Jay-Z and life partner Beyonce, who are assigned as The Carters, take after on eight, including assignments for best joint effort and best hip bounce for their progressing single Apes.

Distinctive experts with different assignments consolidate Drake, Bruno Mars and Childish Gambino.

The late Swedish DJ Avicii, who kicked the can at 28 years of age in Oman in April, is also named.

His Lonely Together coordinated effort with Rita Ora is up for best move.

Ariana Grande has five choices, including video of the year, skilled worker of the year and best pop.

English star Ed Sheeran's Perfect is up for tune of the year, one of his four assignments.
