‘Killer’ of Ondo ex-deputy governor’s girl remanded

An Akure Magistrates' Court in Ondo State has remanded in jail Seidu Adeyemi, the associated executioner with Khadijat Oluboyo, girl of ex-Ondo State Deputy Governor Lasisi Oluboyo.

The expired was a last year understudy of Adekunle Ajasin University (AAUA) Akugba-Akoko.

Seidu was remanded by Chief Magistrate BobManuel Victoria after he was summoned by the police on a two-tally charge of intrigue and murder.

Police prosecutor Adebayo Mary told the court that since it was a murder case, the court had no purview over it and argued for his remand in jail.

Direction to the suspect, Taiwo Gbadebo, did not question the application.

Justice Bob Manuel requested the remand of the suspect in Olokuta jail till August 23 for an audit pending exhortation from the Director of Public Prosecution (DPP).

She guided the police to hand over unique duplicates of his case document to the Ministry of Justice.

The case was suspended till August 23.
