APC Defeats PDP In Bauchi Senatorial Bye-election

The hopeful of the decision All Progressives Congress (APC), Lawal Gumau, has risen victor of the Bauchi South senatorial bye-race hung on Saturday. 

As indicated by the Returning Officer of Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC), Ahmed Fadam, Gumau won in six of the seven nearby government territories in the locale. 

The APC hopeful surveyed 119,489 votes to beat his nearest match, Peoples Democratic Party's Ladan Salihu, who surveyed 50,256 votes. 

The PDP won in just Bogoro zone, the chamber of Speaker of the House of Representatives, Yakubu Dogara, who is an individual from the APC. 

Saturday's decision was held to fill the opportunity made by the passing of the last inhabitant, Ali Wakili.
