Djokovic beats Federer to cliam the Cincinnati Masters titlePrevious world number one Novak Djokovic vanquished veteran Roger Federer in Cincinnati on Sunday to wind up the main player to win every one of the nine Masters 1,000 competitions. Djokovic, who had lost the Cincinnati last to Federer on three past events, edged the seven-time champion 6-4 6-4. "It's an extremely exceptional minute," the prevailing Wimbledon champ said. "It's the first occasion when I get the opportunity to remain with a triumphant trophy in Cincinnati." Djokovic will now hope to bring his frame into the US Open, which begins on 27 August, having already won two titles at Flushing Meadows.
