Nigeria artist Falz has said he may sue the Nigerian Broadcasting Commission over the restriction on his tune "This Is Nigeria." 

The NBC fined a radio station to the tune of N100,000 for playing the tune saying it was unfit for airplay. 

Responding to this, Falz contended that it was not obscene but rather a socially cognizant tune. 

"There is literally nothing revolting about the melody and I think it is silly that the Nigerian Broadcast Commission singled out the slightest foul line in the tune and credited it to be the reason they restricted the tune," he told Punch.
