Gerard Pique Ends Career With Spain

Spain and Barcelona defender Gerard Pique on Saturday declared his retirement from worldwide football.

This comes notwithstanding the arrangement of previous Barcelona mentor Luis Enrique as Spain's new mentor after the sacking of Julen Lopetegui.

Provoke, who made this declaration in front of Sunday's Spanish Super Cup coordinate against Sevilla, says he needs to center his residual years playing football with Barcelona.

"I addressed Luis Enrique a couple of days prior. He called me and I revealed to him the choice was taken quite a while prior and that I had contemplated it deliberately," he said at a news meeting.
