Kano Deputy Governor Resigns

Kano State Deputy Governor Hafiz Abubakar

Hafiz Abubakar has surrendered from his situation as Deputy Governor of Kano state, asserting he was disregarded by the senator, Abdullahi Ganduje. 

Abubakar declared his renunciation in a letter routed to Ganduje on Sunday. 

"I have persevered through boundless and unmerited mortification for more than over two years with no reason other than my principled position on the issues of administration and the craving to keep the legislature on track," the letter read to a limited extent. 

"Considering the present situation and given the crumbling situation and your proceeded with disregard for the workplace of the appointee representative and your demeanor of a few shameful acts on my individual. I lament to state that I have no alternative than to surrender to my internal calling."
