Presidential competitors in Nigeria have begun flaunting their physical wellness in front of the 2019 general race in the West African nation. 

Compact News had detailed before that President Muhammadu Buhari of the decision All Progressives Congress trekked for more than 800 meters from the petition ground to his habitation in the midst of droning of 'Sai Baba' by well-wishers on Tuesday, August 21. 

A week ago, Aminu Tambuwal, the legislative leader of Sokoto state, had asserted that Buhari was "excessively old, making it impossible to lead the nation past 2019. 

Reacting on Tuesday, Garba Shehu said the trekking by the President was a positive reaction to Tambuwal's denunciation. 

"I think the president has completed one thing today – that the issue isn't the means by which old one is nevertheless how fit he is; the way sound he is. Since the president has demonstrated his wellness and prosperity to proceed in office is a settled issue", Shehu had said on Tuesday.
