Suspected Kidnapper Who Took Tramadol Still Sleeping Six Days After Arrest

A speculated criminal, who is accepted to have taken Tramadol before going for a bungled grab task is as yet dozing six days after he was captured by the police.

The presume's character was yet to be affirmed by the Ondo State Police Command.

His present state was affirmed on Saturday by the representative of the state Police Command, Femi Joseph.

He was captured by policemen last Sunday after his three-man group flopped in their endeavor to grab the proprietor of a pharmaceutical shop in Owo, Ondo State.

The casualty, in the wake of raising a caution on locating the ruffians, fled through a secondary passage.

The police said the presume attempted to escape on a cruiser he grabbed from a client of the shop proprietor however faltered.

The police uncovered that a 400mg tablet of Tramadol was recouped from the pocket of the dozing suspect, which raised the doubt that he more likely than not taken the medication before he went for the task.

Joseph told Punch: "Starting today (Friday), the suspect presently couldn't seem to wake up.

"Perhaps he took excessively of the medication, that is the reason he is as yet resting.

"We have attempted whatever we could to influence him to recapture his cognizance without much of any result.

"In any case, we are as yet watching him to see whether he is imagining.
