Third Mainland Bridge Reopened After Maintenance Test


The bridge
The legislature of Lagos state on Sunday declared the reviving of the Third Mainland Bridge, which was incidentally shut for Investigative Maintenance Test. 

Dr Taiwo Salaam, Permanent Secretary, Ministry of Transportation, said the choice to revive the scaffold sooner than declared took after the consummation of the test by engineers. 

The scaffold, which is the second longest extension in Africa, was closed on 23 August, and was booked to be revived midnight of 26 August.
