The Akwa Ibom North west congressperson demanded that if the Senate President announces his seat empty, Saraki's seat ought to likewise be proclaimed empty particularly when there is no division in the All Progressives Congress (APC).

"Indeed, even as you are taking a gander at me, do I look annoyed? I have not heard the report. Since the motivation behind why I imagine that is gossip is that there is, right now, no division in the APC.
"The APC is one family. In the event that you find out about R-APC that was not by any means a political gathering that was not a division, has since been expended in what they call Coalition of United Political Parties (CUPP).
"Along these lines, there is no division. Thus any absconding from APC to PDP, we will get a kick out of the chance to proclaim those seats empty."

"I have not heard anything. Also, what I am hearing currently is the thing that you are letting me know. In any case, for what reason don't you sit tight for me to formally converse with you. I trust that when the National Assembly continues you will get notification from me straightforwardly. In this way, practice persistence."

"The procedures of announcing a seat empty is clear. Saraki has nothing to do with the implication to pronounce any seat empty. We would prefer not to be drawn into the superfluous hint.
