Easter Celebration: Many Dead, 23 Injured In Ogun Multiple Accidents

Something like four individuals have been affirmed dead while 23 others continued changing degrees of damage in six street mishaps that happened on the Lagos-Ibadan Expressway, Ogun State, amid the Easter festival.

Brief News discovered that around 34 guys and 16 females were engaged with the mishaps that were recorded on the interstate among Sunday and Monday.

As per the Route Commander of the Federal Road Safety Corps in Ogun State, Florence Okpe, in an announcement in Abeokuta accused the mishaps for speeding.

Okpe uncovered that the main accident included a truck and a Toyota transport, including that around 20 individuals were associated with the mishap.

She said the second mishap was a solitary mishap which included a Nissan vehicle with number plate, APP863 EF.

Okpe said the third mishap included nine people and just six of them supported wounds.

She stated, "The fourth mishap included two bikes.

"Four people supported wounds and were taken to the Olabisi Onabanjo University Teaching Hospital in Sagamu.

"The fifth mishap was between two cruisers. Three of them were harmed and one kicked the bucket," she said.

Then, the 6th mishap, which was accounted for by the Traffic Compliance and Enforcement Corps, killed two people on Monday on the Lagos - Ibadan Expressway.
