I’m Nigerian by birth – Atiku replies APC

PDP Presidential hopeful in the February 23rd presidential race, Atiku Abubakar, has disproved claims made by the APC that he isn't a native of Nigeria.

In an appeal recorded at the presidetial decision council, the APC had claimed that Atiku is certifiably not a Nigerian by birth. In their request, the APC expressed that Atiku was conceived in Cameroon as is a Cameroonian by birth and in that capacity, isn't qualified to keep running for president.

Reacting to APC's case, Atiku in explanation himself and his gathering mutually recorded before the Presidential Election Petitions Tribunal, denied the case. The previous Vice President said he was conceived on November 25, 1946, in Jada, Adamawa State, along these lines he was a Nigerian.

He said while his dad, Garba Atiku Abdulkadir, hailed from Wumo in the present-day Sokoto State, his mom, Aisha Kande, hailed from Dutse, presently Jigawa State. The reaction partially peruses

"As opposed to the claims contained in sections 1, 2, 3, 4, 5 and 6 of the third respondent's (APC's) answer, the solicitors express that the first applicant (Atiku) is a resident of Nigeria by birth and consequently met all requirements to cast a ballot and be voted in favor of and returned in the race to the workplace of the President of the Federal Republic of Nigeria, hung on Saturday February 23, 2019 passing by the significant arrangements of the 1999 Constitution (as changed).

"The first candidate was conceived on November 25, 1946, in Jada, Adamawa State, by Nigerian guardians and he is, thusly, a resident of Nigeria by birth. The first applicant's dad, Garba Atiku Abdulkadir, was a Nigerian by birth who hailed from Wumo in the present-day Sokoto State, while the mother, Aisha Kande, was likewise a Nigerian who hailed from Dutse in the present-day Jigawa State.

"The guardians of the first Petitioner are the two Fulani, a network/clan indigenous to Nigeria.

"The introduction of the first applicant in Jada, in the present-day Adamawa State of Nigeria, was occasioned by the development of his fatherly granddad called Atiku, who was a nomad merchant, from Wumo in the present-day Sokoto State to Jada in organization with his companion, Ardo Usman. That in Jada, Atiku, the granddad of the first candidate, brought forth Garba who in tum brought forth the first applicant and named him after his dad, Atiku.

"The first solicitor's mom, Aisha Kande, was the terrific little girl of Inuwa Dutse who came to Jada as a vagrant broker too from Dutse in the present-day Jigawa State. All averments concerning Germany, British Cameroons, League of Nations and Plebiscite are false and deluding in connection to the first solicitor and subsequently totally unimportant all the more so the first applicant is a Nigerian by birth inside the examination of the Constitution of the Federal Republic of Nigeria, 1999 (as changed).

"The averments in the previously mentioned passages are without a doubt manufactured, imagined, made in dishonesty and intended to humiliate the first applicant" he said
