Man caught while trying to sell his son and daughter for 350k

A Nigerian man who took a stab at selling his child for N200k, girl for N150k has been captured by the Cross River State Police Command.

The 30-year-elderly person, Edet Essien Inyang who purportedly took his children to Murray Street where he looked for purchasers to empower him fund-raise, said he took the way to escape neediness. An onlooker, Edem who addressed newsmen said;

"He came here with the youngsters and asked after one rich man on this road and when he didn't see the man, we approached him what he was searching for the man for and he said was searching for somebody to purchase his two kids. He said the male tyke is N200, 000 and the female N150,000."

Edem further unveiled that so as to prevent him from taking the kids some place to sell, they needed to "defer him while reaching the Police at Atakpa Police Station which is close-by, and promptly sent a group to capture him. He said he is from Akwa Ibom State yet lives in Using Inyang," Edem included.

The man who took a stab at selling his child for N200k and little girl for N150k, has since been exchanged to the State Criminal Division at the Police Command home office for further examinations.
