PDP Kicks Against Removal Of Fuel Subsidy

The restriction Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) has contradicted the suggestion for the evacuation of fuel sponsorship by the central government.

The PDP Deputy National Publicity Secretary, Diran Odeyemi, told the Punch in Abuja on Monday that President Muhammadu Buhari's organization would submit a transgression to expel the endowment which would deliver more hardship on Nigerians.

He said the guidance by the International Monetary Fund (IMF) for the fuel sponsorship expulsion would not be useful to Nigerians.

Odeyemi stated, "It is wrong to add to the weight of the enduring masses of Nigeria, particularly as of now when nourishment, work and security of lives and property have been an issue.

"The IMF transcription, out of the blue, can't work in Nigeria, and I am certain Nigerians will dismiss any hardship as of now."

IMF Managing Director, Christine Lagarde, had on Thursday, amid the opening service of the World Bank/IMF Spring Meetings in Washington DC prompted Nigeria to evacuate fuel endowment and utilize the investment funds to update social foundation.
