Two Die In Accident On Lagos-Ibadan Expressway

Two people were on Saturday affirmed dead in a mishap including a Volvo jeep and a Mack truck around Danco filling station on Lagos-Ibadan interstate.

Babatunde Akinbiyi, Spokesperson, Traffic Compliance and Enforcement Corps (TRACE), affirmed the episode to NAN in Abeokuta.

Akinbiyi clarified that the mishap happened around 6:11p.m., saying that the jeep, with enrollment number SGM 858 AA, which was on top speed, lost control and slammed into the stationary truck stamped MUS 762 XD.

"The two inhabitants (male) in the Volvo Jeep kicked the bucket on the spot, despite the fact that it took the TRACE, FRSC and police group some an opportunity to recover their bodies since it was at that point caught," he said.

The TRACE representative included that the carcasses of the dead had been saved at the funeral home of Olabisi Onabanjo University Teaching Hospital (OOUTH), Sagamu.
