EFCC Arraigns 4 Yahoo Boys And 1 Girl In Benin, Edo

The Economic and Financial Crimes Commission, EFCC, Benin Zonal Office today, Thursday, May 30, 2019 charged five presumed web fraudsters at the Federal High Court sitting in Benin City, Edo State.

The suspects were summoned on five separate charge verging on getting cash by fake trap and pantomime, an offense culpable under Section 14(2)of the cybercrimes (denial, avoidance and so on) 2015.

Three of the presumes Gabriel Akhibge, Isaac Christiana Nkemdirum and Innocent Uyioshoria were summoned before Justice An A. Demi-Ajayi. They conceded to the charge favored against them.

Two different suspects, Osawaru Samson and Onineh Dickson Imaboyor were summoned before Justice M G. Umar, Imaboyor confessed to the charge yet Osawaru argued not blameworthy to the charge favored against him.

In perspective on the request of the respondents, the cases were dismissed to June 13, 17, and 24 for survey of certainties and condemning.
