The Prosecutor, Insp. Harmony Chukwudi, told the court that the respondent submitted the offense on June 29, 2019, at Mekuwen Street, Ikoyi, Lagos.
She said that Jacob unlawfully had sexual information of the five-year-old young lady by embeddings his finger in her vagina.
Chukwudi said that the respondent went to the habitation of the young lady when her folks were out and polluted her.
As per her, the offense contradicts Section 261 of the Criminal Law of Lagos State, 2015.
The respondent's request was, nonetheless, not taken.
Chukwudi asked the court to remand the respondent in jail pending the legitimate counsel from the Director of Public Prosecutions (DPP) in the state.
The Magistrate, Mrs K. O. Doja-Ojo, requested that the respondent be remanded in jail and that the case document be copied and sent to the DPP for exhortation.
She deferred the case to August 7.
