Man Arrested For Allegedly Stabbing Brother To Death

57-year-elderly person, Tijjani Yahaya has been captured by the Kano State Police Command for supposedly wounding his 20-year-old sibling, Aminu Mohammad, to death.

In an announcement issued by the Police Public Relations Officer (PPRO) in the state, DSP Abdullahi Haruna, in Kano on Sunday, he said the episode happened at Annandin Islamic School, Kofar Ruwa, Dala nearby government zone of Kano state on July 19, at about 9:00 p.m.

As indicated by him, fundamental examinations uncovered that Yahaya and the injured individual had a misconception and, simultaneously, Yaya cut him on his chest with a sharp blade.

"The suspect was captured and the blade was recouped," the PPRO expressed.

Haruna said the injured individual was raced to Murtala Muhammad Specialist Hospital Kano, where he passed on while accepting treatment.

The PPRO said the Commissioner of Police in the state, Mr Ahmed Iliyasu, requested that the case be moved to the State Criminal Intelligence and Investigation Department for watchful examination
