Son Accused Of Beating 70-Year-Old Father To Death In Jigawa

A 25-year-old Jamilu Hamisu of Mukku town in Garki has been captured by the Police in Jigawa State for supposedly beating his 70-year-old dad to death.

Representative for the police in the state SP Abdu Jinjiri affirmed the episode, saying that it happened at their homestead on Monday at about 1230hrs.

Jinjiri said police in Garki division hurried to the scene following accepting the report and have prevailing with regards to capturing the suspect.

As indicated by him, the unfortunate casualty was hurried to Garki Primary Health Care for assessment and was affirmed dead by a specialist.

The police representative said a starter examination demonstrated that the suspect was intensely affected by medications.

He said the case was moved to state CID for cautious examination.
