The Ogun State Police Command has affirmed the demise of Nigerian footballer, Tiyamiyu 'Kaka' Kazeem, who was purportedly killed by a police officer from the Special Anti Robbery Squad (SARS) on Saturday evening.

Kazeem, who was the associate chief and safeguard of Remo Stars Football Club was allegedly en route to Sagamu from Abeokuta with one of his partners when they ran into SARS agents who marked Kazeem as a 'yahoo kid.'

In spite of introducing his personality (ID) card to recognize himself as a player of Remo Stars FC, his club said in an explanation that the officials demanded taking them to a close by station. While on their way, one of the officials purportedly pushed Tiyamiyu to a moving vehicle, prompting his passing.
