Three Chinese Nationals who are laborers in a mining site in Wase town of Plateau State, have been isolated for associated case with the novel coronavirus.
Magistrate for Information in Plateau, Dan Manjang uncovered that the Chinese residents who flew into Abuja on Wednesday February 26, ventured out down to Jos, the Plateau State capital on Thursday February 27.
Manjang who asserted that there is no affirmed instance of coronavirus in Plateau, said the Chinese nationals are as yet being clinically analyzed by a clinical master conveyed by the State Ministry of Health.
He revealed to Channels Television;
"The circumstance right currently is that they have been detached.
"Them three came in through Abuja and once we heard that, the Commissioner for Health needed to take a proactive measure to send a clinical group to Wase to proceed to research.
"The issue that we have is that there is an inclination for individuals to believe that examination or isolate, by and large, implies that there is an episode of the infection.
"Most definitely, there has been no known instance of this infection on the Plateau; we just took proactive measures to ensure that we place them (the Chinese nationals) under scrutiny and that will take 14 days."
Manjang further revealed that the Plateau state government is presently sitting tight for the report of the group that was sent to Wase before making the following stride.
