Three new cases of COVID-19 confirmed in Abuja

Nigeria's capital, Abuja, has recorded three instances of COVID-19.

As per a report by THE PUNCH, the list case is an authority of the Federal Inland Revenue Service and was one of the travelers on the British Airways' flight that arrived on March 13, 2020.

It was found out that two different instances of COVID-19 were affirmed.

A clinical specialist revealed to The PUNCH that the three patients had been moved to the University of Abuja Teaching Hospital.

He stated, "The awful news is that three examples from the FCT (Federal Capital Territory) suspected cases tried positive for coronavirus. We have in contact with the University of Abuja Teaching Hospital and we are moving them right away. We will give more subtleties at the earliest opportunity concerning their flights, contact following, and different conventions.

"COVID-19 is in Abuja now. One of the travelers on the British Airways' flight works with the FIRS and he is among the individuals who tried positive. His significant other tried negative. We are trusting that all biometric sign-in at the FIRS home office in Wuse Zone 5 stops with prompt impact."

Affirming the occurrence, NCDC through their official twitter account stated; "@Fmohnigeria has affirmed 10 new instances of #COVID19 in #Nigeria. Of the 10 new cases, 3 are in the Federal Capital Territory and 7 are in Lagos. 9 out of the 10 cases have travel history outside Nigeria over the most recent multi week. The tenth case is a nearby contact of an affirmed case"

Every single new case have mellow to direct manifestations, and are being overseen at the University of Abuja Teaching Hospital and Infectious Disease Hospital, Lagos.
