Scene 1 of Into The Night begins as a lady named Sylvie attempts to get a trip to Moscow. The registration lady reveals to her she's past the point of no return and inquires as to whether she is as yet flying with Mr Mertens. Sylvie then takes out a urn from her sack, uncovering that Mr Mertens died.
The lady figures out how to get her on a flight and gives her a top of the line seat. Simultaneously, a man named Terenzio attempts to get any trip due west and jumps on one to New York.

As the air masters are preparing the Moscow plane, Terenzio snatches an automatic weapon from one of the troopers and tempests the plane.
He surges in the cockpit and requests the pilot Mathieu to take off, asserting the sun will execute them all. The pilot attempts to stop him however purposes Terenzio to coincidentally shoot him in the hand. One of the pilots is missing as well, so Terenzio inquires as to whether anybody is a pilot. Sylvie approaches and subsequent to compromising her, they take off effectively.
Not yet decided, Terenzio attempts to persuade Mathieu and Sylvie that the daylight is killing individuals and that he works for NATO. Mathieu uncovers that when he shot him, the projectile broke the radio.
