POWER Creator Ruined The Show - 50cent

GQ got a chance to sit down with 50 Cent to discuss his characters in his acting career. He eventually spoke on playing the Kanan character and talked about why his character died during Season 3.

50 Cent revealed that things got awkward when 'POWER' became "the 50 Cent show" to the public and not much were mentioning Courtney Kemp being the writer of the show. He says from there the tension rose between them.

"It also was friction between her and Omari, because he feeling like he was the lead and the star of the show so she was having a problem with anyone leading the show because she felt like it was her show. It is her show she's the writer."

He reveals that because of that friction Courtney Kemp wrote that in Season 3 Omari Hardwick's character 'Ghost' was written to die then. 50 Cent pushed back and said no, but she still wanted a character to die and 50 offered his character because he's busy being 50 Cent in real life.

A lot of people feel ‘Ghost’ should’ve never died in ‘POWER’ and 50 feels the same way.
