Nigerian Chelsea Defender Downplays Belgian Move

Super Eagles defence strong man Kenneth Omeruo has said he has not decided where he would play in the next soccer campaign.

Spring-Nobs News understands that the Chelsea man is reportedly on the radar of Belgian Jupiler club KAA Gent.

However, Omeruo who has yet to feature for the Blues since signing for them about six years ago, said he needs to speak to the London side first before making any move.

“At the moment,” the player added, “I have not decided where I will be playing next season as I still need to speak to Chelsea, so any news right now about an agreement with any club is not true.”

Omeruo was in action for Nigeria at the 2018 World Cup in Russia where he played two games.
