Liverpool and Chelsea to clash as league cup draw revealed

Liverpool and Chelsea will confront each other in the League Cup third round, while holders Manchester City begin their offer to hold the trophy at minnows Oxford. 

The two clubs enter the opposition at the third round stage because of their support in European activity this season.
