NEMA Receives 164 Assisted Voluntary Returnees From Libya

The National Emergency Management Agency (NEMA) says it has gotten another bunch of 164 helped intentional returnees from Libya. 

It was accumulated that the returnees were stranded in fizzled endeavors to achieve diverse European nations. 

The Agency's Spokesperson, Ibrahim Farinloye, who affirmed the advancement in Lagos, said that the returnees touched base at the Cargo Wing of the Murtala Muhammed International Airport, Ikeja at 8:50p.m. on Thursday night. 

Farinloye said the returnees contained 61 grown-up females including seven pregnant ladies, 96 grown-up guys, two kids and five newborn children, including that 17 of the returnees had restorative cases. 

He said that they were brought back through the help of the International Organization for Migration (IOM) on board a Libyan Airline trip with enlistment number 5A-DMG. 

The representative said the Nigeria Immigration Service, National Agency for the Prohibition of Trafficking in Persons (NAPTIP), Refugees Commission, the Police and the Federal Airport Authority of Nigeria (FAAN) authorities were on ground for profiling and documentation of the returnees. 

Likewise, the Director General, NEMA, Mr Mustapha Maihajja had in this way approached confidence and network based associations to join government in endeavors at disheartening unpredictable movement and the get-rich-speedy disorder in the general public. 

Maihajja, spoken to by the Southwest Zonal Coordinator, Alhaji Yakubu Suleiman, engaged religious and network based associations in driving attitudinal change towards debilitating unpredictable relocation.
