Troops arrest five suspected robbers

Troopers have captured five theft suspects at Felele, on Lokoja-Okene Highway.

Armed force representative Brig.- Gen. Texas Chukwu said in an announcement the suspects were discovered wearing military disguise and victimizing suburbanites.

He said three of them, Savior Dennis, 39, Isaac Donald, 35 and Joseph Isah, 35, were seized. Another, Atsen, was murdered amid a trade of discharges with the troops.

Chukwu said two ladies assistants, Janet Isah and Oyinoye Ochefije, were captured amid the experience.

He said the suspects were being cross examined and would be given over to the fitting specialist for activity.

The representative recorded things recuperated from them as AK 47 rifle, AK 47 rifle magazine stacked with 28 rounds of ammo and four sets of military disguise uniform.

Others are a couple of police pullover, three sets of berets, a couple of dark boot, two cleavers, plier and 22 telephones.

Chukwu said N16,980 was recuperated from the suspects.
