The National Chairman of Congress of Nigeria Youth CONYO Amb. Mumeen Ibraheem has urge all the youths in Osun State to mobilize and conduct themselves in a peaceful Manner during the forthcoming Saturday gubernatorial election.
He made this known in Osogbo the state capital on Thursday evening while arriving his home town for the Saturday election. Amb. Abdulmumeen emphasized on the needs to maintain peace and orderliness during the poll. Despite our political interest and indifferences we must learn the high speed of tolerance as only one party will emerges the winner while he urge other parties and supporters to learn how to accept defeats.
We cannot afford to witness any post election trauma in Osun State again, the Chairman added.
In the meantime, Amb. Abdulmumeen Ibraheem has urge all the Candidates of political party contesting the Saturday election to exercise calm and decency before, during and after the poll.
The victory o the political party does not matter but the victory of our democracy. Amb. Mumeen Ibraheem now use the medium to warn all youths to desist from vote buying and selling as this did not add any value to our democracy but rather damaged it.
Finally I wish all the candidates the very best in the poll and a peaceful conduct to all Osun People.
