President Buhari Appoints Bichi As New DSS Boss

Yusuf Magaji Bichi has been designated as the new Director-General of the Department of State Services (DSS) by President Muhammadu Buhari. 

Affirming Bichi's arrangement on Thursday evening, Buhari's media associate Garba Shehu said the representative was a center Secret Service agent. 

He said Bichi, whose arrangement produces prompt results, had experienced preparing in insight handling investigation, specialist taking care of enrollment and knowledge handling in the UK, and in addition vital preparing at the National Defense College. 

"The new DSS manager goes to the activity with abilities in knowledge gathering, inquire about examination, peace making, general examination, hazard and helplessness tasks, counter insight and defensive task and HR administration," Shehu said in an announcement. 

"Over the span of his profession, Mr. Bichi has filled in as the State Director of Security in Jigawa, Niger, Sokoto and Abia States." 

The new DG went to Danbatta Secondary School, the Kano State College of Advanced Studies and the Ahmadu Bello University, Zaria where he graduated with a degree in Political Science. 

Bichi, who is a northerner from Kano State, resigned from the DSS a year ago following 35 long periods of administration. 

He started his vocation in the security division of the Cabinet Office in Kano, from where he joined the dead Nigerian Security Organization (NSO), the forerunner of the present DSS. 

Bichi was at different occasions the Director, National Assembly Liaison, (National War College), Director at National Headquarters in the Directorate of Security Enforcement, Directorate of Operations, Directorate of Intelligence, Directorate of Inspection and Directorate of Administration and Finance. 

The new DSS DG likewise filled in as Director at State Service Academy.
