WAEC Confirms Senator Adeleke Sat For 1981 Exams

The West African Examinations Council (WAEC), says the competitor of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) in the Osun state governorship race Senator Ademola Adeleke, sat for its examination in 1981. 

The board affirmed Adeleke's cooperation in a testimony dismissed at a FCT high court in Bwari, Abuja, Nigeria's capital on Wednesday. 

Succinct News reviews that PDP individuals in Osun, Rasheed Olabayo and Oluwaseun Idowu, had documented a suit to challenge Adeleke's nomination because the congressperson "did not have his grade school leaving endorsement". 

As indicated by segment 177 (d) of the 1999 constitution, the endorsement is required for an elective position. 

The court requested that WAEC create Adeleke's outcome before Saturday's governorship decision. 

In the testimony promised to by the representative enlistment center, head of school examination division, Henry Sunday Adewunmi Osindeinde, WAEC affirmed Adeleke sat for the May/April 1981 at Ede Muslim High School in Osun state.
