8 South African Policemen Arrested For Allegedly Killing A Nigerian

South African Police have captured eight policemen regarding the supposed 2017 merciless homicide of a Nigerian. 

Adetola Olubajo, President of the Nigerian Union in South Africa, affirmed the capture on phone from Pretoria. 

Reviewing how the casualty was totured, Badmus Olalekan Ibrahim, 25, was professedly tormented to death by his executioners in Vanderbijlpark close Johannesburg in 2017. 

"Badmus Ibrahim, a local of Ibadan in Oyo State was tormented and fiercely killed on Oct. 10, 2017 by cops. 

"The officers were captured today (Oct. 5) in Vereeniging outside Johannesburg. They will be summoned in Vanderbijlpark Magistrate Court on Monday (Oct. 8) for homicide and torment,'' he unveiled on phone. 

Olubajo said the cops were prosecuted for homicide and torment by the South Africa's Independent Police Investigating Directorate (IPID) on Sept. 27, 2018. 

He said the association had since the occurrence happened lined up the issue with IPID to guarantee equity was served to Ibrahim's executioners. 

"This is an appreciated advancement as the network and the group of Ibrahim Badmus will ideally get equity on the homicide of their child. 

"We approach South African specialists to examine all homicide cases including our nationals independent of who is suspected to be the executioner," he advanced. 

Olubajo said the eight cops were at present held in Biopatong Holding Cell, Gauteng Province in the previous politically-sanctioned racial segregation enclave. 

He praised IPID for its intercession and participation with the association in guaranteeing the guilty parties were captured and charged.
