Five Catholic nuns have been kidnapped by shooters in Delta state, southern Nigeria. 

Brief News reports that the Catholic nuns have a place with the Order of the Missionary of Martha and Mary in Agbor. 

The nuns were coming back from an entombment function in the south-east when the shooters hijacked them at Railway Line close Agbor, Ika South nearby government territory of Delta, a report by Punch uncovered. 

The vehicle passing on them was apparently shot at, with two of them getting hit on the legs by the projectiles. The occurrence was said to have occurred on Thursday. 

A minister in the bishopric was cited as saying: "If you don't mind petition God for the arrival of five MMM Sisters seized at Agbor, and two other MMM Sisters in a similar vehicle shot at the leg district. 

"The sisters were en route from the east where they went for a burial service." 

The state chief of police, Muhammad Mustafa, affirmed the occurrence, saying the exploited people were in a private vehicle when they were stole
