Obasanjo Endorses Atiku For 2019 Presidency

Previous President Olusegun Obasanjo has tossed his weight behind the presidential hopeful of the resistance Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) for the 2019 races, Atiku Abubakar. 

Atiku, who was Nigeria's VP amid Obasanjo's administration from 1999 to 2007, is the fundamental hopeful testing President Muhammadu Buhari for Nigeria's most astounding office in 2019. 

Obasanjo stated: "Let me begin by praising President-to-be, Atiku Abubakar, for his prosperity at the ongoing PDP Primary and I observed his charitable comments in his acknowledgment discourse that everything began here. 

"Indeed, when it began, it was intended for Atiku to succeed Obasanjo. Within the sight of these separated pioneers of altruism today, let me say it transparently that we have checked on what turned out badly in favor of Atiku. 

"What's more, in all trustworthiness, my previous Vice-President has re-found and re-situated himself. As I have more than once stated, it isn't so much what you did against me that was the issue however what you did against the Party, the Government and the nation. 

"I stood firm I had taken dependent on the character and properties you displayed in the position you got yourself. I emphatically trust that I was correct. It was in the general enthusiasm of everybody and everything to take such a position. 

"From what unfolded over the most recent few hours or somewhere in the vicinity, you have demonstrated regret; you have requested absolution and you have shown that you have adapted some great exercises and you will patch fences and present appropriate reparations as important and as attractive. 

"At whatever point or wherever you may have annoyed me, as a Christian who requests God's pardoning of my transgressions and deficiencies on regular routine, I excuse and I earnestly encourage you to gain from the past and make the right decision and it will be well with you." 

The previous president made the announcement after a shut entryway meeting with Atiku, who visited him at his living arrangement in Abeokuta, the Ogun State capital.
