Boko Haram Strikes Borno Village, Burns 65 Houses

Around 65 houses were burnt on Saturday as Boko Haram radicals struck Bale Shuwa town in Jere Local legislature of Borno state. 

This was uncovered by the National Emergency Management Agency (NEMA) where it noticed that the guerillas stole 200 dairy animals, 300 sheep and goats. 

As per NEMA's Northeast Zonal Coordinator Bashir Garga who said this in Maiduguri, the "Suspected Boko Haram extremists assaulted Bale-Shuwa town in Jere Local Government Area at about 7:30 pm on Saturday. 

"One handicapped individual was purportedly executed and 65 houses were scorched, while 200 dairy animals, 300 sheep and goats were trucked away." 

Garga noticed that the individuals who got harmed amid the assault are accepting treatment at the doctor's facility.
