Army Relocates Baga Residents Following Ongoing Operations

The Nigerian Army has said it will migrate inhabitants of Baga town in Baga Local Government Area of Borno State following continuous military tasks in the region. 

As indicated by an announcement by the military representative, Colonel Onyema Nwachukwu, the movement activity is to be out related to the Borno state government. 

The Army said it has been seen that some "deceitful" people with likely evil thought processes inside and outside Borno State are endeavoring to make freeze and superfluous helpful issues for undisclosed reasons. 

"It has become obvious that these individuals are plotting to impel the occupants of Bama, Dikwa and Monguno people group to desert their networks and move to Internally Displaced Persons (IDP) Camps for undisclosed reasons," the Army said. 

The military asked occupants of the three Borno towns and the overall population to disapprove all calls and resist the urge to panic. 

Colonel Onyema said that the Theater Command, Operation Lafiya Dole, and other security offices will reveal more insight into the issue in a Security Council meeting with the Borno State Government, planned to hang on Monday 31st December 2018. 

"We might want to additionally express that there is no reason for the general population of Bama, Dikwa and Monguno to empty their individual networks.
