President Muhammadu Buhari has complimented the Super Falcons of Nigeria for winning the Africa Women's Cup of Nations (Awcon) title for a record ninth time. 

The Falcons won the title in the wake of beating South Africa 4-3 on punishments on Saturday in Accra, Ghana. 

The President, in an announcement issued by his media assistant Femi Adesina, communicated specific joy at the order and responsibility displayed by the nation's senior ladies' football group in spite of the firm obstruction of their South African partners. 

Buhari said winning the Awcon title for the third continuous time and ninth by and large was the "good to beat all."
