The Police Service Commission (PSC) says it has gotten 242,455 applications in the progressing enrollment of 10,000 constables into the Nigeria police drive. 

In an announcement on Thursday, the commission's acting representative, Aaron Kaase, said the applications came a month after the enrollment entrance was opened on November 30, 2018. 


Compact News reports that President Muhammadu Buhari had affirmed the enlistment of the police constables to expand the quality of the power. 

"The entry is relied upon to close on January 11 in accordance with the Federal Character necessity of about a month and a half," he said. 

Kaase said Niger state leads with 15, 633 applications, trailed by Kano state with 15, 079; Katsina state, 14, 582, Bauchi state, 12, 652; Kaduna state, 13, 882; and Adamawa state with 11, 449 candidates. 

The commission's acting representative likewise said Bayelsa state had the most reduced utilizations of 1,258, trailed by Lagos state, 1, 358; Ebonyi state, 1, 659 and Anambra state, 1,618. 

As indicated by him, out of the 242,455 applications got up until this point, 212,716 were guys while 29,694 were females.
