Lagos-Ibadan Railway: Nigerian Railway Corporation Gives Completion Date

Nigerian Railway Corporation (NRC) has uncovered that the 156-kilometer new Lagos-Ibadan railroad will be prepared in May 2019.

This was uncovered by the Managing Director of the NRC Fidet Okheria throughout the end of the week.

As indicated by Okheria, the business activity will begin the 85km Iju-Abeokuta area of the new standard check line after the present free train ride by travelers hanging in the balance expected to keep going for three months.

"The whole stretch of the new line from Lagos to Ibadan would have been finished in May this year," he revealed to The Punch.

He included that the contractual worker is doing its work and that the undertaking will be finished as arranged.
