Compact News reports that Legese on Saturday, February 2, won the long distance race with a period of 2.17.28 and returned home with $50,000 prize cash.
While Kipkorir Joshua of Kenya came next as he completed with a period of 2.18.26.
Likewise, William Yegon of Kenya came third with a period of 2.14.04

While some of us are still sleeping, an Ethiopian has won the #LagosCityMarathon already. I can never participate in that thing until they ban Kenyan & Ethiopian Athletes from running.
