NLC expressed this as they communicated dissatisfaction at INEC's choice to delay the presidential decision last Saturday.
NLC said by means of an announcement by its leader, Comrade Ayuba Wabba:
"We at the Nigerian Labor Congress join different Nigerians in communicating our stun at last delay of the presidential and National Assembly races planned to hang on Saturday, February 16, 2019," Wabba said.
"We share in the agonies of the individuals who in an exceptional show of enthusiasm, needed to make a trip long separations to play out their metro obligation. We likewise comprehend the shock of the individuals who had caused enormous and unquantifiable calculated expenses. No clarification will be sufficient given INEC's rehashed affirmations and the energy of Nigerians to make their choice.
"In any case, given the way that had the decision occurred, an enormous number of Nigerians would have been disappointed by virtue of gross and wide-spread strategic shortfall, the delay, as agonizing as it seems to be, is a lesser malice of the two."
The NLC anyway encouraged Nigerians to support up for the rescheduled race and not to be disappointed.
