Sarri Has Turned Chelsea Into Arsenal, Says Carragher

Chelsea were slammed 6-0 by Manchester City on Sunday and Jamie Carragher didn't keep down with his analysis, contrasting them with Arsene Wenger's Arsenal after a woeful first half. 

A Sergio Aguero twofold after Raheem Sterling's opener was trailed by a strike from Ilkay Gundogan to leave Chelsea reeling – and with 45 minutes still to play. City proceeded to score twice more, with Aguero finishing his cap trap and Sterling snatching a second. 

It was a dazzling showcase from City yet Carragher said Chelsea hadn't been rationally sufficient. 

Blues manager Maurizio Sarri has spoken freely about his battles to persuade the Chelsea players and Carragher said they were increasingly reminiscent of the Arsenal groups who have endured substantial thrashings in defining moments under Arsene Wenger as of late. 

"City have been remarkable, however this has been as awful as anything from Chelsea this season," Carragher revealed to Sky Sports. 

"It's solitary part of the way through Sarri's first season yet the most noticeably bad thing I can say is it would seem that he has transformed Chelsea into Arsenal. 

"The Arsenal group that has battered far from home in the last seven or eight years since they have been excessively frail. You couldn't say that regarding Chelsea before, however this resembles a frail group. 

"The principal objective is criminal from [Marcos] Alonso. It's so easygoing three or four minutes into a major event. He was not exchanged on by any means."
