Woman Arrested For Scamming Ogun Church Of N100 Million (Photo)

A 39-year elderly person recognized as Iwuagwu Onyinyechi, has been captured by the Ogun police order for purportedly cheating a Christian religious association to the aggregate of N100m, under the misrepresentation of helping the association to raise finance for its philanthropy program.

The police direction in an announcement on Sunday by its representative, Abimbola Oyeyemi, said Onyinyechi's capture pursued an appeal composed by a Lagos-based legal advisor of the association, Godswill Ojakovo, to the Ogun State Commissioner of Police, in which he griped that his customer was duped by the suspect through a demonstration of phony.

As per Oyeyemi, the suspect professed to have a Local Purchase Order (LPO) from a property organization and spoke to the association to help subsidize the LPO, resulting whereupon an entirety of N33.118m was moved into to her financial balance.

While the association was anticipating the reimbursement of the advance, the suspect accompanied another two LPOs she professed to have from a Catholic Hospital, Iju and a tuition based school in Ikorodu, Lagos State, whereupon another whole of N77m was given to her, in the wake of persuading the association with applicable reports and verifications to back her cases.
