
Succinct News reports that the APC hopeful Adegbuyi Olajuwon was proclaimed the victor of the decision by the Returning Officer, Chika Asokwa on Saturday's night.
The race had before been suspended by INEC on ninth of March when the Governorship and House of Assembly races were directed.
Asokwa pronounced that Olajuwon of APC surveyed 5,484 votes to overcome Ojo-Ade Fajana of the Peoples' Democratic Party (PDP), who earned 3, 258 votes.
