“Bad roads not cause of accidents on highways” – Fashola

Current Minister of Power, Works and Housing, Babatunde Fashola, has said that wounds and avoidable mishaps that happen on thruways are not constantly because of awful streets as guaranteed by numerous Nigerian street clients.

The Minister said this when he talked at a limit building workshop on the actuation of the five United Nations' Convention on Road Traffic acquiesced to by Nigeria in Abuja yesterday March twentieth.

As indicated by the Minister, over speeding and foolhardy driving are the primary driver of mishaps on Nigerian streets.

In an announcement issued by the Federal Ministry of Power, Works and Housing on Wednesday, the priest noticed that wounds and avoidable mishaps that happened every day on expressways were deplorable.

The announcement said Fashola told members at the workshop that there was no state in Nigeria that the Federal Government was not executing one street venture or the other.
