Kidnappers abduct Mother of Super Eagles player, Samuel Kalu, demand N50m ransom

Associated hijackers have kidnapped the mother with Super Eagles' midfielder, Samuel Kalu.

Mrs. Kalu was driving with a portion of her kids along the Okpulu Umuobo region of Aba, Abia State, a week ago when the unidentified shooters hindered her vehicle, requested the youngsters out of the vehicle and removed her.

A source near the family said the ruffians at first requested a N50 million payoff, yet later expanded it, as they trust they would get more from the Girondins Bordeaux star.

Kalu who plays his football with Bordeaux in France was educated of the circumstance right away. It is currently known whether he will be in real life for Bordeaux when they take on Montpellier in a Ligue 1 diversion on Tuesday, March 5.
